PTDF Scholarship Scheme for Nigerian Federal Universities (2024)
Undergraduate Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements:
– Must be a full-time student in the 2nd year of study at a federal university in Nigeria.
– Course of study must be related to the Oil and Gas industry.
– Minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 5-point scale or 2.2 on a 4-point scale.
– Must have completed first-year exams.
– Possess 5 credits in WAEC/SSCE/NECO, including English and Math (not more than 2 sittings).
– Provide transcripts signed by authorized personnel.
– Submit a personal statement of at least 300 words.
Scholarship Reward:
– ₦500,000 per year + Laptop (₦625,000 for the first year).

Master’s Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements:
– Must have a full-time admission letter to a federal university in Nigeria.
– Minimum Second Class Lower (2.2) in an Oil and Gas related field.
– Course of study must be related to Management and the Oil and Gas industry.
– Must have completed NYSC or possess an exemption letter.
– Possess 5 credits in WAEC/SSCE/NECO (not more than 2 sittings).
– Submit a personal statement of at least 1000 words.
– Meet other criteria for In-country Scholarship Scheme (ISS) Postgraduate.
Scholarship Reward:
– ₦700,000 per year + Laptop.
Application Deadline:
– June 24, 2024.
PhD Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements:
– Must have a full-time admission letter to a federal university in Nigeria.
– Minimum Second Class Lower (2.2) in an Oil and Gas/Management related field.
– Minimum of merit in a second degree in an Oil and Gas related discipline.
– Must have completed NYSC or possess an exemption letter.
– Possess 5 credits in WAEC/SSCE/NECO (not more than 2 sittings).
– Research area must be relevant to the Oil and Gas industry.
– Submit a research proposal of not more than 6 pages.
– Meet other criteria for In-country Scholarship Scheme (ISS) Postgraduate.
Scholarship Reward:
– ₦700,000 per year + Laptop.
