Apply for Kogi State Students Scholarship 2024
Kogi State Government has unveiled portal for the payment of bursary awards for students in Tertiary Institutions.
After several years of non payment of scholarship, students in tertiary institutions will now have a sigh of relief as they can now register for the exercise as from Tuesday, sixteenth of this month.
The programme tagged Ododo Students Support twenty-twenty four, is part of the benevolence of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to cushion the hardship faced by students at this critical time of economic quack mire.
Speaking at the unveiling of the portal in Lokoja on Monday, Kogi State Education Commissioner, Wemi Jones said the reintroduction of the Bursary award is to supports students in achieving their dreams.
He noted that the scholarship is part of the ten years Kogi State Development plan and encouraged students to enrol for the exercise.
On his part, the Executive Chairman of Kogi State Scholarship Board, Mr. Afolabi Joseph Raji noted that the bursary Award is strictly for students of Kogi Origin in tertiary institutions across the country.
According to him, students are to log in to Kogi State Scholarship Board Portal at https://scholarshipboard.kogistate.gov.ng
even with their Smart phones.
He assured that the exercise will be transparent, adding that registration will close on April 30th.
President of National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), Comrade Jeremiah Elukpo urged Kogi Students to register for the bursary, saying the State Government meant well for them.
