The UK’s Department for Business and Trade (DBT) are launching the department’s first global tech awards, the Unicorn Kingdom: Pathfinder Awards (UKPA), to unearth and showcase the most promising scale up companies in the tech industry. The UK digital tech ecosystem is now valued at US$ 1 trillion; only the third country to pass this milestone after the US and China, offering a great environment for businesses to grow within the industry.
With a $1 trillion tech ecosystem, the UK offers endless opportunities to Nigeria tech companies for expansion and they are launching an award globally.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the Unicorn Kingdom: Pathfinder Awards you need to fulfill the following criteria:
- Your business is an established scale up, delivering innovative, technology-led solutions across one of the categories listed below
- Your product and/or service has international applicability
- You have not yet established a presence in the UK and are interested in setting up in the UK within the next 2 years
