The Pan-Atlantic University MTN Media Innovation Programme 2024 for Nigerian Media Practitioners (All expense paid trip South Africa)

Applications for the 2024 MTN Media Innovation Program are now being accepted. For media professionals in Nigeria, the MTN Media Innovation Programme (MIP) is a six-week curriculum offered over six months. The course will broaden the participants’ knowledge and skill set while assisting them in comprehending the shifting media landscape and how to use technology wisely to produce powerful media content.

The fully financed, six-month fellowship program for media professionals in Nigeria is intended to foster the long-term growth of the country’s evolving media landscape. Media professionals from all fields are welcome to apply, including those who create material for social media and print, electronic, and online platforms. The goal of the course is to help participants better grasp the media-technology nexus and Nigeria’s technology sector. It will also help them become more adaptive to changing circumstances.Faculty mentorship and professional resources will also be available to fellows at SMC.

Criteria for the Pan-Atlantic University/MTN Media Innovation Programme 2024

• Must be a media professional/practitioner
• Must have a valid International Passport
• Must pass a written test and any subsequent interviews
• Must get a written release from employers to participate in the programmeEvery participant will experience improved knowledge in three broad areas:
• The Telecoms industry
• Media Innovation
• Writing & Reporting With expert guidance, mentorship, and a supportive community of fellow media professionals, you will gain the skills and knowledge you need to make a real impact in the industry.

Programme Structure

• 33 Days in Class
  All accepted candidates will spend 33 days in class in the course of the training.
• 7 Days in South Africa
  An all expense paid trip to SouthAfrica for a 7 days training.
• 1 Day in MTN Nigeria Headquarters
  Candidates will be tutored at the MTN Nigeria Headquarters and MTN Group Headquarters.
