1: Lehigh University. School of Economics. All students accepted into the Ph.D. Program are offered funding packages, subject to satisfactory progress, that guarantee four academic years of tuition remission and a monthly stipend (9-month per year) to cover living expenses.

2: University of Virginia Students admitted to the doctoral program will be offered a five-year aid package of $30,000 per year

3: University of Buffalo PhD Stipends for Fall 2024 The incoming PhD stipend will be at least $23,000 for our departmental funded students.

4: University of Wisconsin Madison If your application is submitted with required supplementary materials by December 5th, you will automatically be considered for funding for five years of support during your doctoral studies

5: University of California Santa Barbara. The Department expects to offer a full financial aid package to all accepted PhD students, which will cover full tuition, health insurance, and a stipend.

6: Emory University. Students in the Economics PhD program at Emory typically receive full funding for five years through the Laney Graduate School.

7: University of Colorado Boulder. After accepting admission, you will automatically be considered for funding in the form of a teaching assistantship. In addition, you may be offered a generous fellowship to help with the cost of relocation expense.

8: Vanderbilt University. All Economics Ph.D. students receive the following standard support for up to five years.
9: Indiana University of Bloomington Our department offers a variety of types of financial aid to students in its Ph.D. program. These include graduate fellowships, associate instructorships, and graduate assistantship.
10: Georgetown University PhD students in good standing you will receive a Graduate Scholarship for the full tuition plus health insurance subsidy and Yates and Activity Fees for as long as they are in the program (up to 5 years).
Most of these universities accept bsc for direct phd application. But one thing that I have seen is that most people that gets funding from Economics, Accounting or MBA always has GRE. So if you want to be competitive enough regardless of your gpa and your interest is in any of these professional courses, maybe you can consider writing GRE before fall application starts.
