The State Partnerships Manager (Supply-Side) will be responsible for growing and implementing NI-ABAE’s strategic interventions to improve vaccine supply and cold chain efficiency in Northern Nigeria. As a Manager, the SPM will supervise 4-5 officer-level staff in the stakeholder relations unit, in addition to other responsibilities that this senior manager will have. We seek a candidate with extensive experience in vaccine logistics in Northern Nigeria. The ideal candidate is innovative and data-oriented, leveraging their strong network and partnerships in the vaccine logistics space to support our efforts in drastically reducing the intensity of vaccine stockouts in the states where we operate. We are looking for a candidate who is prepared to work at all levels (facility to national) to create and refine effective systems. The ideal candidate should be growth-oriented, an effective manager, and prepared to offer substantial organizational leadership against one of NI-ABAE’s primary organizational targets. 
Organizational Summary
All Babies Are Equal Initiative (the Nigerian entity of US organization, New Incentives) was incorporated by the Corporate Affairs Commission as a Non-governmental organization (NGO). Its work is focused on demand creation for routine immunization in Nigeria through conditional cash transfers and awareness creation. The organizational goal is to save lives cost-effectively by increasing immunization coverage in the North West and East Nigerian States of Bauchi, Gombe, Kaduna, Kano, Kebbi, Katsina, Zamfara and Jigawa. New Incentives — All Babies Are Equal Initiative is one of the most cost-effective charities in the world.The Conditional Cash Transfers (CCT) for Routine Immunization Intervention include supply side review, sensitization, verification for vaccination received, awareness creation, and a cash transfer of N1000 from the first immunization visits to the 5th immunization visit to caregivers of infants. A Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) found strong evidence that the program significantly increases vaccination rates. Additionally, the organization supports routine immunization systems in collaboration with governmental and non-governmental organizations.
Job Responsibilities and Tasks
Vaccine Supply Coordination (40%)Review and analyze NI-ABAE supply-side data daily to assess trends and prompt urgent interventionsImplement NI-ABAE’s established interventions to resolve supply-side issuesAssess the case management of Supply-Side Officers Evaluate and innovate against NI-ABAE’s established interventions to grow and improve the organization’s efficacy in resolving and preventing vaccine stockouts at all levelsBuild new relationships that will assist in achieving organizational and program goalsEnsure that we are talking to partners in the states and talking to LGAs where we don’t directly workTalking to partners at national and presenting to them on an ongoing basis Liaise with and cultivate of national level champions and supports related to vaccine supply, both directly and through the National Partnerships OfficerRepresent the organization at SERICC and LERICC meetings for priority states and LGAsDaily and weekly internal and external updates to ensure timely action on existing and potential stockoutsManagerial (30%)Provide technical supervision and guidance to the stakeholder relations and supply-side unit.Support the recruitment, training, evaluation, staff development, and internal communication of necessary manpower required for meeting stakeholder relations and supply-side goals.Undertake any other administrative duties, or training and development, appropriate to the grade of the positionGenerate weekly work plans for reportees and support them to manage their expenses effectively, including issues resolutions when necessaryStakeholder Management and Organizational Representation(20%)Vaccine-supply related stakeholder relationship and knowledge management Manage stakeholder relationships in a cost-effective manner Organizational awareness of vaccine-supply stakeholder relations landscape changes at the state and national levelAlignment of organizational goals with government priorities and identification of common points of collaborationsInternal Unit Management (10%)Be a key representative and leader of the Stakeholder Relations UnitPlan and implement internal meetings and events such as training Maintain relationships across NI-ABAE units and departments, coordinating as necessary to resolve issuesAttend all planned SR Unit activities and inter-unit activities; represent SR unit internally in trainings and meetings, including organization-wide
Education and Work Experience Requirement
MSc or PhD in public health or any of the health or social sciences disciplines preferred10 years prior experience working on immunization programs10 years prior experience working for a health non-profit or national health Ministry, Department or AgencyCurrently residing in Katsina or willing to relocateExperience working with National or State Health Ministry or Primary Health Care AgencyExperience working in Northern NigeriaKey responsibilities include vaccine supply management, supervision of the supply-side unit, and organizational representation.

Language Requirement
Proficiency in English Language (conversation, reading, and writing) is requiredKnowledge of Hausa Language (conversation and reading) is an advantage
