NWAG Nigeria Scholarship 2024 (1st & 2nd Winners Receive $300 to $150)

NWAG to Award Scholarships to 111 Female Undergraduates in Nigeria University in 2024

Note : NOT OPEN TO FINAL YEAR STUDENTS

The Nigerian Women Association of Georgia (NWAG) plans to award 111 one-time scholarships, three per of origin as well as three for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Each undergraduate student in a Nigerian University who wins the 2024 Scholarship Award will receive Three Hundred U. S. Dollars ($300). A sum of One Hundred and Fifty U.S. Dollars ($150) would be awarded to each 1″ runner up, while A sum of One Hundred U.S. Dollars ($100) would be awarded to each 2nd runner up. The scholarship award will be given in Naira equivalent.

Interested prospective applicants are advised to visit NWAG website at www.nwag.org to download an application form. 

Application Form Procedure

Applicants are required to submit the following documents together with their completed application form on or before May 31″, 2024:

  • Proof of State of Origin-Letter of Origination from the university or a letter from your local government office.
  • Two letters of recommendation from any two of the following:
  • Pastor or Imam
  • VillageHead
  • LocalGovernment Chairperson
  • UniversityLecturer or Head of the Department.
  • One Letter of recommendation from either the Dean of your Faculty or School Head of your
  • Department Photocopy of your current university student identification.
  • A current photograph of yourself.
  • An explanation of why you need and why you should receive the scholarship (Not more than one-half typed page).

A type-written, doubled-spaced, two-page easy on:

“The alarming exodus of professionals leaving Nigeria for greener pastures: What is the cause? What can be done to improve or reduce this mass exit? How does this “Japa Syndrome” affect education in Nigeria?”

THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR EMAIL SUBMISSION MUST INCLUDE THE NAME OF YOUR STATE AND YOUR FULL NAME.
