Applications are now open for the 2025 YALI-RLC EA/Trevor Noah Foundation Education Change Makers Programme. This four-week intensive leadership program is a collaboration between the Trevor Noah Foundation and the Regional Leadership Center (RLC) East Africa, hosted at Kenyatta University.

Program Details:

  • Personalised leadership training
  • Coaching and mentorship
  • Access to seed funding for impactful projects
  • No application or participation fees
  • Connection to a dynamic alumni network of education changemakers across Africa

Training Period:

22 September – 17 October 2025
Location: Regional Leadership Center East Africa, Kenyatta University (in-person or hybrid modality details to be confirmed)

Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be 18 to 35 years old
  • Be a citizen of an East African country
  • Be actively engaged in the education sector in some capacity
  • Have demonstrated leadership experience and a commitment to improving education outcomes
  • Be able to fully commit to the 4-week training period

Individuals from rural, refugee, and underrepresented minority communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
