Job Summary
The Fleet Officer will support the implementation of transport policies by planning and coordinating the movement of cement products and materials between the plant and approved destinations. The role ensures efficiency safety and compliance in all logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate loading and offloading activities at the plant
Manage truck movement and ensure smooth traffic flow within the facility
Supervise storage and handling of incoming materials
Ensure timely dispatch of cement products to approved locations
Monitor compliance with health safety and environment standards
Oversee FIFO loading process for customer trucks
Prepare logistics reports and recommend improvements
Track fuel usage and recovery for operational efficiency
Ensure proper documentation for accidents and incidents
Coordinate vehicle allocation for materials spare parts and logistics needs
Liaise with transporters on truck arrivals breakdowns and emergencies
Requirements
Education
Bachelor degree in Transport and Logistics Business Administration or related field
Experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in transport or fleet management
Skills
Knowledge of logistics operations and inventory systems
Understanding of cement industry operations is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Good communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related tools
