The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Nigeria’s lead agency in road safety administration and traffic management, is conducting its 2026 nationwide recruitment exercise. Applications are completely free. Positions are available across three cadres — Officer, Marshal Inspectorate, and Road Marshal Assistant — open to candidates from SSCE holders to degree professionals.
- Superintendent Route Commander (SRC) – CONPASS 11: MBBS or equivalent degree in Medicine
- Route Commander / Deputy Route Commander (RC/DRC) – CONPASS 10/09: B.Pharm, B.Sc Nursing, BMLS, LLB/BL, or B.Eng/B.Tech
- Assistant Route Commander (ARC) – CONPASS 08: B.Sc, BA, or HND from a recognized institution, NYSC completed
Marshal Inspectorate Cadre:
- Marshal Inspector II & III (MI-II & MI-III) – CONPASS 07/06: NCE, ND/OND, RN/RM, or CHEW certificate
Road Marshal Assistant Cadre:
- Road Marshal Assistant II & III (RMA II & III) – CONPASS 04/03: Minimum 3 SSCE credits including English and Mathematics (not more than 2 sittings)
- Drivers, Riders & Artisans: Skills in driving, motorcycle riding, computer operation, mechanics, electrical work, plumbing, tailoring, or other technical trades — minimum 3 SSCE credits, Trade Test Certificate or relevant professional certification
General Requirements
- Nigerian by birth
- Medically fit (certificate from government hospital required)
- Good character, no criminal record, not financially indebted
- Must be single at time of application
- Physically and mentally fit for paramilitary duties
- Height: minimum 1.65m (males), 1.56m (females)

Age Requirements
- Officer Cadre: 18–35 years
- Marshal Inspectorate: 18–30 years
- Road Marshal Assistant: 16–30 years
- Articulated/Tow Truck Drivers: 26–40 years
