Voice Over Expert at Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi)

Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) is a non-profit organization that promotes socio-economic development by supporting global health and economic initiatives in Nigeria. It was established as indigenous organizational, registered in 2009 with its headquarter in Abuja, and presence in the four geopolitical regions of Nigeria.  It aims to provide technical assistance to the government and people of Nigeria in the implementation of public health and development programs.

The Global Fund Grant Cycle (GC7) is to ensure a coordinated and intensive effort to scale up the prevention, identification, and treatment of HIV in both general and key populations in Anambra state. The focus will be on facility and community-based approaches to reach epidemic control, and in addition, ensure improvement in the coverage of pregnant women on ART as well as target KP and AGYW programs.

Background

  • The Nigeria TBHIV Reach Integration & Impact Project (N-THRIP) is designed to ensure a coordinated and intensive effort to scale up the prevention, identification, and treatment of HIV in both general and key populations in Anambra state.
  • The focus will be on facility and community-based approaches to reach epidemic control, and in addition, ensure improvement in the coverage of pregnant women on ART as well as target KP and AGYW programs.
  • Hence, the integrated approach harnesses digital professionals’ expertise to develop IEC materials and radio content, targeting vulnerable groups and adolescents.
  • Aligned with this strategy, the IEC materials will be widely disseminated and shared across healthcare facilities and strategic locations within communities to enhance awareness.
  • To further amplify the message and encourage wider engagement, radio broadcasts will feature voice-over recordings. Meanwhile, our digital communications team will spark online conversations by creating engaging social media content, including animated visuals, to drive awareness and foster meaningful discussions across various social media platforms.

Key Roles
The services of the language expert consultant will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide high-quality voice over services for digital content (videos, animations, audio recordings)
  • Work closely with the digital expert and language expert to ensure consistent tone and style
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the script content and messaging
  • Ensure accurate pronunciation and intonation
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality voice overs
  • Review and edit content for linguistic accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and appropriateness.

Recruitments

  • Degree in Broadcasting, Communications, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a voice over artist or consultant
  • Excellent vocal skills and tone
  • Strong understanding of scripting, graphics design and messaging
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of multimedia content development.
