University of Lagos Women Society School Teaching & Non-teaching Recruitment 2024:Located in a conducive environment inside University of Lagos, Akoka campus, Lagos State, the University of Lagos Women Society School (ULWSS) is a private nursery and primary school established in 1967.

The Board of ULWS School, University of Lagos hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant teaching and non-teaching positions in the institution:

REQUIREMENTS FOR TEACHING POSITIONS
Class Teacher III (MATHS, ENGLISH AND EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION) – ULWSS 6

NCE in Maths, English and Early Childhood Education from a recognized institution with SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics is compulsory. No experience is required.

Class Teacher II (MATHS, ENGLISH, MUSIC,(PART TIME) AND PHONICS) – ULWSS 7

NCE in Maths, English, Music, and Phonics from a recognized institution with SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics is compulsory. A minimum of 4 years’ teaching experience is required. OR

B.Ed., B.Sc. (Ed.), B.A. (Ed.) in Maths, English, Music and Phonics from a recognized institution with a minimum of 2^nd Class Lower Division plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics is compulsory. Minimum of 1 year teaching experience. OR

B.A., B.Sc., plus PGDE from a recognized Institution with a minimum of 2^nd Class Lower Division plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption. SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics is compulsory. Minimum of 1 year teaching experience.

In addition, candidate must:

possess the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Certificate/License
be computer literate.
Not more than 40years

REQUIREMENTS FOR NON-TEACHING POSITIONS

1. Executive Officer (Library) – ULWSS 6

OND from a recognized institution with a minimum of Lower Credit plus SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics is compulsory. (Diploma in Library Studies is an added advantage)

2. Cleaner – ULWSS 2

Candidates for the post of Cleaner should possess SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L Certificate with a minimum of PASS in any three (3) subjects.

3. Patrolman – ULWSS 2

Candidates for the post of Patrolman should possess SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L Certificate with a minimum of PASS in any three (3) subjects. Basic training in security work is needed and the candidates height should be 5ft. 6 inches.

Candidates for all non-teaching position should not be more than 45 years of age.
