- Duration: 36-month long research program.
- Financial Assistance: All-Inclusive Financial Assistance is provided.

Eligibility Criteria
- Accepting applications from all nationals.
- The ideal applicant ought to: not be older than 30 at the time of application (exceptions may be granted based on an individual basis).
- Possess a First Class Degree* in a relevant field from an internationally renowned top institution, or possess a Masters Degree* and at least an Upper Second Degree in a relevant field from an internationally renowned top university.
- An applicant can meet the requirements for admission to UBD, including English competence.
- Send in a compelling and excellent research idea.
Scholarship Coverage
- Tuition, registration, and admission fees at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam will be waived. A monthly subsistence stipend of BND 2,200.00 (Brunei Dollars) is provided for 36 months.
- Free on-campus accommodation (excluding administrative fees).
- For candidates who do not live in Brunei Darussalam, one incoming and departing economy class air ticket will be supplied from (when accepting the scholarship) and back to their home country (after the study is completed).
- Funding for international research or conference presentations (up to BND 3,000.00 (Brunei Dollars). The award will cover visa fees for candidates.

- Accredited Copies of Transcripts from Universities and Academic Certificates (O and A levels, HNDs, Bachelor degrees, or equivalent).
- Copies of international passport with certification.
- Qualifications for English proficiency (TOEFL, BEC, IELTS, etc.)
- A letter from your home country confirming your security clearance.
