Call for applications for the Tomorrow’s Leaders Program 2025 (Fully-Funded)!

Sponsored by the Department of State’s U.S.-Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI), the Tomorrow’s Leaders Program offers undergraduate and graduate scholarships to exceptional students from socioeconomically underserved backgrounds who represent the cultural and geographic diversity of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Since 2006, the Tomorrow’s Leaders Program has partnered with the leading American-style universities to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills necessary for effective leadership. By attending world-class universities like the American University in Cairo, the American University of Beirut, and the Lebanese American University, which are rooted in the liberal arts tradition, Tomorrow’s Leaders foster critical thinking and strengthen the ability to find creative solutions to the challenges facing their communities, the MENA region, and the world.

In addition to their notable academic work, Tomorrow’s Leaders participate in exciting internships, civic-engagement activities, and enrichment workshops where they apply their knowledge to real-world settings. By joining the Tomorrow’s Leaders Program, participants join a vibrant community that offers a comprehensive support system, including mentorship and personal development initiatives.

Undergraduate participants have the opportunity to study abroad in the United States for a semester, immersing themselves in American culture, engaging with local communities and expanding their global outlook. Upon graduation, participants join a network of over 1,000 program alumni serving as leaders across the MENA region.
