Applications are now open for the 2025 AMWAJ Fellowship Programme. The AMWAJ Fellowship Programme for Journalists will give young professional journalists a boost in their early careers.
Requirements
The AMWAJ Fellowship Programme for Journalists is open to young professional journalists (less than 5 years of experience) from the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean countries:

- Palestine
- Syria

- Türkiye
Benefits
One applicant will be selected for the AMWAJ Fellowship Programme for Journalists. The first cycle of the Fellowship will take place over five months from October 2025 to February 2026. The successful applicant will receive a stipend of 4,000 euros, plus travel and accommodation costs for approved reporting expenses.
The successful applicant will:
- Collaborate closely with and receive mentoring from the AMWAJ team
- Have their work published in AMWAJ’s Stories/Tayyarat section, REVOLVE’s magazine online, and potentially selected for REVOLVE’s quarterly print magazine.
- Have their work announced across AMWAJ social media channels and shared on the AMWAJ playlist on YouTube.
- Be provided with a profile on the Fellowship page, including your profile picture, biography, social media and/or website links, and any relevant and related articles, books, videos, and features you have produced.
