Ondo State OSOPADEC Scholarship Scheme 2024
The Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) invites applications from eligible students in its mandate areas for the 2023/2024 academic year scholarship program.
This initiative aims to provide financial support to both undergraduate and postgraduate students in recognized Nigerian tertiary institutions.

About the OSOPADEC Scholarship
Established in 2001, OSOPADEC is dedicated to the socio-economic development of oil-producing communities in Ondo State, specifically Ilaje and Ese-Odo Local Government Areas.
The Commission undertakes Community Economic Development (CED) initiatives to address challenges in these areas, including educational support through this scholarship program.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants will receive the following financial rewards:
- Undergraduates: ₦50,000
- Master’s and Postgraduate Diploma students: ₦100,000
- Ph.D. students: ₦150,000
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be indigenes of Ilaje or Ese-Odo Local Government Area.
- Be full-time students at recognized public or private tertiary institutions in Nigeria during the 2023/2024 academic session.
- Include students from Nigerian Law School (if acknowledged by their institution).
Note:
- Part-time, sandwich, pre-degree, and NTI certificate/diploma students are ineligible.
- Institutions must be accredited by relevant government agencies.
Required Documents
Applicants need to provide the following:
- A recent passport photograph
- Proof of Local Government Area of Origin
- JAMB admission letter
- School fee receipt for the 2022/2023 academic session
- Valid student ID card
Important Application Notes:
- Ensure all details are accurate, as bank details cannot be changed after submission.
- Print and complete the registration slip.
- The registration slip must be signed and stamped by the Dean of Students Affairs or Head of Department (HOD).
- Upload the signed slip to complete your registration.
