The Nigerian government has launched a free training initiative for youth on Artificial Intelligence (AI) through an online platform. The program, named AI Academy, was inaugurated by the Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, Uche Geoffrey Nnaji, on Tuesday.
This initiative is a collaboration between Nigeria and the Commonwealth of Nations. According to the minister, the academy aims to equip students, youth, and government officials with the skills to tackle challenges and create opportunities using AI.
Registration for the program will close on January 30, and interested participants are encouraged to visit the AI Academy’s official website to register.
