  • Supervise and manage staff, including 4 Field Managers, Enumerators (hired as needed), Office Manager, Security/Logistics Specialist, and Driver.
  • Coordinate technical activities, field data collection, and ensure quality control and timely reporting on the performance of humanitarian assistance activities.
  • Liaise with field managers to ensure that field operations are conducted in alignment with USAID/BHA standards and TPM protocols.
  • Oversee logistics and security arrangements for field teams, including coordination of transportation, procurement, and accommodation needs.
  • Ensure that field office activities adhere to budgetary and operational guidelines, reporting any discrepancies or challenges to the DCOP.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the Maiduguri office, ensuring clear communication between the field office and the Abuja headquarters.
  • Mitigate risks and provide field-based insights to inform real-time program adjustments and decisions.
  • Monitor contextual factors in the operational environment to inform the team’s adaptive management approach.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Nigerian citizen/resident required.
  • A Master’s Degree in a related field (a Master’s is preferred, however, Navanti will consider applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree + 10 years of relevant experience).
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in project management, field office leadership, humanitarian program implementation, or other experiences related to the contract subject matter.
  • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis related to humanitarian assistance strongly preferred.
  • Experience overseeing field operations in remote or hardship conditions.
  • Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams in a complex operating environment.
