The Federal Ministry of Education has officially opened applications for the Next Moonshot Initiative.
The Student Venture Capital Grant, commonly referred to as S-VCG, is a federal government program designed to ignite and support student-driven innovation across Nigerian tertiary institutions. As a central pillar of the Renewed Hope Agenda, the S-VCG provides substantial financial backing to students with innovative ideas that address real-world challenges within STEMM fields.
Grant Amount and Funding StructureGrant Value: Up to N50 Million (Fifty Million Naira)
Funding Type: Equity-Free
The Student Venture Capital Grant provides up to N50 million in equity-free funding to successful applicants. This means students who receive the S-VCG retain complete ownership of their ventures while accessing substantial financial resources to develop and scale their innovative solutions.
