Are you passionate about tackling the big challenges our world is facing? Echoing Green is looking for bold, visionary leaders ready to create a future free from racism and its far-reaching impacts—a world where everyone can truly thrive.

The Echoing Green Fellowship is for those who are leading early-stage enterprises and are deeply connected to the issues they’re addressing.

We’re seeking individuals who reflect the communities they serve, bringing their own lived experiences into the work and designing solutions together with their communities.

Echoing Green supports changemakers, community organizers, and social justice leaders with the tools and resources they need to turn their ideas into action and create lasting impact.

What You’ll Get as a Fellow

• Leadership Development: Grow as a leader through a comprehensive program designed to sharpen your skills and strategies.
• Wellness and Wellbeing Support: Entrepreneurship can be tough, so we provide ongoing support for your mental and emotional wellbeing, including self-care workshops made just for social entrepreneurs.
• Expert Connections: We’ll match you with the right experts and opportunities to help you overcome challenges and grow your impact.
• Seed Funding: Receive a stipend of $100,000 USD over 18 months. For-profit ventures will receive this funding as recoverable grants.
• Community Building: Join virtual and in-person gatherings where you can connect with other Fellows, build relationships, and find support for your entrepreneurial journey.
• Pro-Bono Support: Access to professional expertise to help you build your organization’s capacity and navigate the social innovation space.

Who Can Apply?

• For Applicants:
  • You must be 18 years or older by June 1, 2025.
  • The Fellowship requires that you communicate proficiently in English.
  • You can apply from any country in the world—this is a global opportunity.
  • You must be the original founder or a key founding team member of your organization, with decision-making power and the ability to lead the organization’s direction.
  • You need to be able to commit full-time to your organization throughout the 18-month Fellowship.
• For Organizations:
  • If your organization has a fiscal sponsor, that’s okay, as long as the sponsor has no control over your organization’s work.
  • Organizations focused on recruitment or promotion for a specific religion aren’t eligible, but those working with faith communities without promoting a specific faith may still apply.
  • The Fellowship isn’t available to organizations with existing Echoing Green Fellows in leadership roles.
  • U.S. laws prevent Echoing Green from funding organizations engaged in lobbying, but issue-based advocacy is allowed.
