The Bank of Agriculture invites eligible and competent Farmer Aggregator Companies to express interest in participating as accredited aggregation partners under the Renewed Hope Smallholder Support and Value-Chain Fund. This call is part of a broader effort to strengthen Nigeria’s agricultural value chains and expand access to finance, inputs, and markets for smallholder farmers.
MSME platform
The Renewed Hope Smallholder Support and Value-Chain Fund is a strategic financing intervention designed to support smallholder farmers across Nigeria with affordable credit, quality inputs, extension services, and guaranteed market off-take. The programme is structured to improve productivity, reduce risks for farmers, and strengthen value-chain coordination through trusted aggregation partners.
Why This Matters
Smallholder farmers remain central to Nigeria’s food security and rural livelihoods, yet many face persistent challenges such as limited access to finance, poor inputs, weak extension support, and unreliable markets. By working with credible farmer aggregators, the programme creates a coordinated system where farmers are supported from production to market, improving incomes, repayment capacity, and overall value-chain efficiency.
Role of Farmer Aggregation Companies
Farmer Aggregator Companies play a critical role in the success of the programme. Selected partners will be responsible for mobilising and managing farmer clusters, coordinating input distribution and extension service support, aggregating harvested produce, supporting structured repayment by farmers, and providing programme data required for monitoring and evaluation.
