Job Summary:

  • We seek an innovative, analytical-minded, and results-driven Program Associate who is passionate about designing and implementing transformative business programs, supporting high-growth enterprises through tailored strategic initiatives, and enabling businesses to achieve sustainable growth.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the effective implementation and delivery of FATE Foundation’s Transformer Programs and Projects in alignment with the FATE School’s strategic direction and focus areas.
  • The FATE School: The FATE School was created to harness the strong entrepreneurial culture of Nigerians by providing aspiring entrepreneurs with business incubation, growth, and accelerator support required to fully explore entrepreneurs’ innovative potential to start, grow, and scale their businesses.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure the successful implementation and delivery of the Transformer Programme, as well as track the participants’ application of knowledge to their business and develop short to mid-term strategic growth plans for a competitive and sustainable business.
  • Liaise with the Senior Programs Manager and Head, ScaleUp Lab to develop, review, update, and implement a robust program proposal, program curriculum, training plan, schedule, and modules to offer a holistic program that reflects the current best practices in entrepreneurship.
  • Design and implement support initiatives tailored to the specific needs of participating businesses, co-creating individualized action plans, customized support, and resources to address the unique challenges and growth opportunities for each business in the program.
  • Coordinate all program work and activities with relevant internal stakeholders and provide support to program facilitators, faculty members, and industry experts to improve the quality, scope, and delivery of the transformer programs. `
  • Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources to maximize impact and support high-growth businesses effectively.
  • Evaluate the transformer program participants by administering a survey during and after the program to determine the progress and success of the program.
  • Provide tailored support to high-growth businesses, addressing their specific needs and challenges.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience engaging directors and senior executives who are major equity stakeholders in medium-sized companies.
  • A good understanding of the Nigerian entrepreneurial ecosystem.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining a focus on the quality of program delivery.
  • Ability to present clear, concise and professionally written communications and presentations.
  • Excellent competency in planning and project management skills.
  • Strong proficiency with data analysis tools and Microsoft Office packages.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
  • A positive, energetic, and ambitious attitude to work
  • A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • A professional certification in ICAN, PMP or related discipline will be an added advantage.
  • Very strong interest and passion for the non-profit or development sector.
