A new technology platform, AR Pro365, has entered Nigeria’s growing SME market, promising to tackle one of the sector’s most persistent challenges: poor record-keeping. Unveiled recently in Abuja, the all-in-one business management software is designed to help entrepreneurs take control of their sales, inventory, expenses, and customer payments, addressing issues that have long plagued small and medium-scale enterprises, including stock discrepancies, scattered bookkeeping, delayed receivables, and unclear profit margins.

Speaking at the launch, Business Risk Strategist and co-founder of AR Pro365, Uchechi Olanrewaju, described the platform as a practical solution tailored to Nigeria’s business environment. She said the software was built with local entrepreneurs in mind, particularly those operating without structured accounting systems.

“Many SMEs struggle with disorganised records, inconsistent stock tracking, and uncertainty about their true profitability. AR Pro365 is designed to simplify these processes and give business owners clarity,” Olanrewaju explained.

The platform integrates sales management, inventory tracking, expense logging, and accounts receivable into a single dashboard, removing the need for multiple disconnected tools. A standout feature is its WhatsApp-enabled record-keeping function, reflecting how many Nigerian entrepreneurs already communicate and conduct business.

Co-founder and Compliance & Process Integrity Lead, Jennifer Ogbogu, said the WhatsApp functionality was a deliberate design choice.

Business Formation

“WhatsApp remains the most widely used communication tool among Nigerian business owners. Instead of forcing entrepreneurs to learn complex accounting systems, we designed AR Pro365 to work with a platform they already use daily,” she said.

Business owners can log sales and expenses directly via WhatsApp using simple chat entries. The system automatically synchronises this information into the main dashboard, updating inventory records, expense trackers, cash flow summaries, and profitability reports in real time. Early users have described the feature as a breakthrough in lowering the barrier to structured bookkeeping.

Beyond WhatsApp integration, AR Pro365 offers a range of features to transform fragmented operations into a centralised command centre.

Salamat Yinusa, co-founder and Financial Systems & Insights Lead, said the inventory management module ensures real-time stock tracking, automated deductions when sales are recorded, low-stock alerts, and insights into fast- and slow-moving products, helping business owners make informed restocking decisions.

“In many SMEs, stock losses and miscounts significantly affect profit margins. With automated tracking and analytics, business owners can see exactly what is happening in their stores,” Yinusa explained.

On the sales and customer management side, the platform provides instant sales recording, maintains customer history, generates performance summaries, and builds an organised customer database to support smarter engagement strategies. Financial reporting tools offer detailed analytics, giving entrepreneurs visibility into expenses, trends, and overall business health — a critical feature for long-term sustainability.

Technology Lead and co-founder, Victor Ajayi, noted that AR Pro365 was developed through a collaboration of experts in finance, compliance, analytics, and technology, with the shared goal of strengthening Nigeria’s SME ecosystem.

“Our objective is to equip Nigerian businesses with the tools they need to operate with clarity, accuracy, and confidence. When entrepreneurs understand their numbers, they make better decisions,” Ajayi said.

With its focus on practical usability, WhatsApp integration, and comprehensive financial and inventory management, AR Pro365 aims to transform how Nigerian SMEs track operations, make informed decisions, and boost profitability.
