Young leaders around the world are reimagining our future and taking bold actions to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, also known as the Global Goals. These goals call for urgent, collective efforts to protect vulnerable communities and safeguard our planet by 2030.
Achieving the Global Goals requires the creativity, determination, and resilience of young people like you—leaders who can overcome challenges and inspire transformative change.
In 2020, UNDP and Samsung launched Generation17, an initiative designed to amplify the voices of young leaders and provide them with the resources, tools, and opportunities needed to accelerate progress on the Goals.
Since its inception, Generation17 has empowered 16 inspiring young leaders from six regions who are tackling critical issues across all 17 Goals. With this open call, UNDP and Samsung are seeking to expand Generation17’s reach, enabling more young visionaries to take impactful action.
