Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Allan Gray Makers StartUp Academy, applicants must:
- Be aged 18–35 years.
- Specialize in the electrical or plumbing trade.
- Be unemployed or self-employed (not currently studying).
Additionally, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Hold a trade test qualification as an electrician or plumber.
- Have 3 years of work experience in the relevant trade and be ready to take the trade test.
- Possess an N2 certificate and 3 years of work experience in electrical or plumbing trades.
Application Requirements
Applicants must provide:
- N2 Certificate, National Technical Diploma, or Trade Test certificate (if applicable).
- Proof of relevant work experience.
- National Senior Certificate (advantageous).
- Certified copy of ID.
