Job Title: Accounting Teacher
Location: Osengere, Ibadan – Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Duties
- Identify and adopt the most effective teaching approaches for the students.
- Identify and teach skills that will develop students’ ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Teach subject specialization to students, following the school’s curriculum and standards.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, materials, and assessments.
- Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods, share resources, and support student learning.
- Participate in department meetings, staff training, and school events.
- Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress and concerns.
- Contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum and academic programs.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
Qualification and Skills
- Possession of a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting or equivalent to the related field.
- NYSCCompletion is Compulsory.
- P.G.D.E. and T.R.C.N. certification is an added advantage.
- Must be fluent in English Language (written and spoken) and should be a go-getter.
- Must be passionate about Teaching
- Must be conversant with 21st-century ICT Tools.
- Must be an excellent team builder and player.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Teaching certification or qualification.
- Must have a minimum of a year of teaching experience.
- Strong subject matter expertise and pedagogical knowledge.
Salary
N60,000 monthly.
