The Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, has unveiled the TRCN Digital Portal and Strategic Vision for Nigerian Teachers to modernize registration, licensing, and professional development.
The portal https://www.trcn.gov.ng enables teachers to register, renew licenses, update records, check results, and print certificates online.
The Strategic Vision focuses on professionalization, digitalization, accountability, equity, and global standards, alongside a Teacher Ethics and Criminal Record Verification Framework.
Aligned with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the initiative introduces AI-powered tools, streamlined PQE reforms, and inclusivity measures. Partners including the British Council commended its transparency.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and raising professional standards in teaching.
