The Women Investment Readiness Accelerator (WIRA) is an intensive program by Sterling One Foundation, in partnership with the Development Bank of Nigeria, designed to equip women-led businesses in Nigeria with the tools, knowledge, and networks they need to scale successfully.
Who can Apply
- Women entrepreneurs based in Nigeria.
- Businesses generate at least ₦1 million in annual revenue.
- Women-led businesses with clear growth potential and expansion plans.
- No prior institutional funding.
Applicants Selection
- Meeting revenue and eligibility requirements.
- Demonstrated business growth potential.
- Strong leadership and vision for expansion.
- Ability to clearly communicate investment needs and business impact.
Eligibility & Program Structure
This application is open to Nigerian women-led businesses with at least ₦5 million in revenue and no prior institutional funding. The program runs virtually for 3 weeks, followed by a physical Demo Day, with post-program mentorship and the potential to access ₦10 million in catalytic funding.
