About the Role
99kafrica is seeking a proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven Vendor Acquisition Officer to support its growing e-commerce marketplace.
This fully remote role is designed for entry-level professionals who excel at communication, business development, and relationship management. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and onboarding new vendors to expand the platform’s seller network.
Key Responsibilities

Vendor Sourcing: Research and identify potential vendors aligned with 99kafrica’s target market.

Outreach & Communication: Contact prospective vendors via phone calls, emails, social media, and other digital channels.

Onboarding & Presentation: Present platform benefits clearly and guide prospective vendors through enrollment requirements.

Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with prospective and newly onboarded vendors while addressing inquiries.

Conversion & Verification: Work toward conversion targets, collect necessary documentation, and verify vendor credentials.
Eligibility Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Minimum of a Diploma (OND/HND/Degree) in a related discipline.

Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in sales, telemarketing, customer support, or vendor management.

Language Skills: Excellent spoken and written English.

Core Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities, confidence in outreach, consistent follow-up, and target-oriented mindset.
