About the Project
The Network of Youth for Sustainable Initiative (NGYouthSDGs) is inviting applications from young Nigerians to join the Youth Voice Naija Project.
This initiative is focused on strengthening youth participation and leadership in shaping and monitoring Nigeria’s National Youth Policy (2026–2030). The project seeks passionate young individuals interested in research, youth advocacy, and community engagement to ensure youth perspectives are reflected in national policy.
Key Responsibilities
Selected Youth Researchers will support:

Conducting one-on-one interviews with young people in local communities.

Reaching out to and engaging diverse youth participants.

Collecting, documenting, and managing digital research data.
-
Capturing young people’s lived experiences, perspectives, and key needs.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must satisfy the following criteria:

Must be between 18 and 35 years old.

Must demonstrate an interest in research and youth participation.
-
Must possess strong communication and active listening skills.
-
Must be well-connected to young people within their local communities.
-
Must be comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for digital data collection.

Must be fully available to participate in research training and fieldwork.
