1. Logistics Officer

Location: Sokoto, Nigeria

Job Purpose
The Logistics Officer will oversee procurement, transportation, warehousing, inventory control, asset management, and logistics operations to ensure efficient and timely project implementation in compliance with donor and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support procurement planning and implementation
  • Prepare procurement requests, quotations, bid analysis, and purchase orders
  • Ensure procurement processes comply with donor and organizational policies
  • Maintain procurement records and documentation
  • Manage receipt, storage, and distribution of project supplies
  • Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliation
  • Support audits and compliance reviews
  • Ensure proper tagging, tracking, and maintenance of organizational assets

2. Protection / MHPSS Officer

Location: Sokoto, Nigeria

Job Purpose
The Protection/Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Officer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring protection and psychosocial support activities. The role focuses on improving the well-being, dignity, and resilience of vulnerable individuals and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide psychosocial support services to beneficiaries, including individuals and groups
  • Identify and support vulnerable persons, including women, children, and persons with special needs
  • Conduct assessments to determine psychosocial and protection needs
  • Develop and implement MHPSS and protection intervention plans
  • Facilitate awareness sessions on protection issues, GBV prevention, and mental health
  • Coordinate referrals for specialized services where necessary
  • Maintain confidential and accurate case management records
  • Collaborate with community stakeholders and partners to strengthen protection systems
  • Prepare regular reports on activities and program outcomes
