Call For Researchers – NITDA National Digital Transformation Study

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) is inviting applications from highly qualified researchers, academics, and industry experts to lead a groundbreaking national study on how digital technologies are transforming Nigeria’s economy.

This initiative seeks to generate evidence-based insights into the impact of digital innovation across key sectors including finance, agriculture,  education, healthcare, trade, governance, and entrepreneurship. The study will also examine emerging trends such as artificial intelligence, fintech expansion, digital inclusion, e-governance, and the future of work in Nigeria’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Successful applicants will contribute to shaping national ICT policy, strengthening Nigeria’s digital economy framework, and identifying practical strategies to accelerate innovation, job creation, and sustainable economic growth. This is a unique opportunity to directly influence policy direction and support Nigeria’s long-term development goals through high-quality research and analysis.

We are looking for individuals or research teams with strong backgrounds in ICT, economics, data science, public policy, development studies, or related fields. Applicants should demonstrate proven research experience, analytical capability, and a strong understanding of digital transformation trends in Africa.
