The Investment Research Associate plays a vital role in supporting the investment research and management processes. You will conduct independent and high-quality investment research output across equities, fixed income, macroeconomics, and sectoral analyses; This role involves leadership in research production, investor presentations, client advisory, and market strategy formulation, with an emphasis on driving actionable investment ideas and supporting business development, aligned with our investment philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on potential investment opportunities across various asset classes.
- Analyze financial statements, market data and economic indicators for potential investments.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast performance and identify potential investment risks and returns.
- Prepare insightful research reports with clear investment recommendations for investment committees.
- Stay current on market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes that may impact investment decisions.
- Participate in industry conferences and investor calls for relevant information and insights.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, with a strong academic record.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CIS, ACI, etc. is an added advantage
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in investment research.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise client-ready presentations.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, with a strong work ethic.
