Senior Lecturer CONUASS/CONMESS 05 – (N4,765,058.00 – N6,649,086.00)/ (N5,483,017.00 – N6,675,544.00)
Candidates should possess:
(a)A minimum of Ph.D. in the relevant fields.
(b)Must have at least six (6) years of teaching and research experience in the University system.
(c)Must show academic experience through publication in recognized local and international journals.
(d)Must show academic leadership through postgraduate supervision and be able to attract research grants from both local and international funding agencies.
(e)Must be ready to lead various research groups within the Department and the University as a whole.
(f)For Department of Medicine and Surgery: Candidates must possess Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or the West African post graduate Medical College or similar Colleges Overseas. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of teaching in a University or institution of similar standing for at least 4 years and must have contributed to knowledge in the form of scholarly publications in reputable journals. Candidates should have a minimum of two years as a Lecturer I.
(g)For Nursing: Bachelor’s degree with not less than Second Class Lower Division, Registered as Nurse/Midwife/Public Health with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, Master’s Degree in Nursing Science, Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Nursing Science. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of teaching in a University of similar standing and contributed to knowledge in the form of scholarly publications in reputable journals. Candidates with Ph.D must have spent a minimum of two years as a Lecturer I.

Candidates should possess:
(a)A minimum of Ph.D. in the relevant fields.
(b)Must have at least four (4) years of teaching and research experience in the University system.
(c)Must show academic experience through publication in recognized local and international journals.

Candidates should possess:
(a)A minimum of a Master’s Degree in the relevant fields with two (2) years experience or Ph.D. in the relevant fields.
(b)Apart from teaching and research works, candidates with Master’s Degree must have registered for a Ph.D programme.
(c)For Nursing Science: Candidate must possess Bachelor’s degree with not less than Second Class Lower Division, registered as a Nurse/Midwife/Public Health with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, Master’s degree in Nursing.
Assistant Lecturer CONUASS 02 – (N2,599,713.00 – N3,040,268.00)
Candidates should possess:
(a)A minimum of a Master’s Degree in the relevant field with Ph.D grade.
(b)Candidates must have registered for a Ph.D programme.
Qualifications Required: Candidates must possess WASC, SSC, GCE O/L by WAEC/NECO/NABTEB with at least 5 credits, 2 credits must be subjects relevant to the Laboratory/Department and English Language and Mathematics.
Other Conditions
1. Appointment is normally on probation which may be confirmed after two years of satisfactory service. The post is pensionable.
2. All applicants for academic positions and applicants for position on CONTISS 06 – CONTISS 12 MUST be computer literate.
