Job Title: Nutritional Nurse Assistant

Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Nutritional Nurse, the Nutritional Nurse Assistant will participate in the nutritional case management of children suffering from acute malnutrition according to MSF nutritional and hygiene protocols, standards, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out basic healthcare tasks, such as swabbing and applying local treatments, following hygiene and asepsis rules.
2. Inform caretakers about the center’s functioning, daily activity plan, and other general information.
3. Distribute meals according to medical prescriptions for each patient.
4. Report daily on patient intake and monitor weight and other vital indicators.
5. Provide hygienic training and sanitation education to children, mothers, and the targeted population.
6. Monitor and report pathological symptoms, such as fever, hypothermia, and dehydration.
Requirements
1. Diploma in Nursing or a related field.
2. Experience in a similar role, preferably in a humanitarian organization.
3. Strong knowledge of nutritional protocols and hygiene standards.
4. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
