Women Techsters Fellowship 2025

The Women Techsters Fellowship is a free, one-year program designed to equip African women aged 16 to 40 with in-demand technology skills.

This initiative is focused on closing the gender gap in the tech industry by creating opportunities for women to thrive in technology-driven careers.

Program Overview

The fellowship is divided into two phases:

  1. First Six Months
    Participants undergo hands-on training that blends technical expertise with essential soft skills, preparing them for the demands of the workplace.
  2. Final Six Months
    This phase is all about practical application. Fellows gain real-world experience through internships, freelancing, entrepreneurial projects, volunteering, or mentorship.

  • DevOps
  • Cybersecurity
  • Data Science and Engineering
  • Mobile App Development
  • Product Design
  • Product Management
  • Software Development (Front End and Back End)

Who Can Apply?

The program is open to African women who meet the following criteria:

  • Age: 16 to 40 years.
  • Residency: Must be living in any African country (e.g., Nigeria, Ethiopia, Egypt, South Africa, Kenya).
  • Education: No degree is required! However, basic digital literacy is a plus.
