Ike Foundation for Autism (IFA) is a non-profit and Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to serving all persons living with Autism in Africa and supporting them to live productive and fulfilling lives, irrespective of age, race, religion, sexual orientation, income levels or gender. IFA was established in 2008. It is registered in Nigeria and Maryland, USA respectively. Since its inception, IFA has evolved as an important Autism voice in Africa. It collaborates with local, African, and international NGOs to promote Autism awareness and advocacy across Africa. IFA has forged strategic partnerships with a number of other Autism NGOs in West Africa and plans to build such partnerships across all the sub-regions of Africa.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Voice Over Artist
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Description
- We are casting talented Voice Actors to breathe life into the characters of our animated series. If you have a versatile voice, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to connect emotionally with young audiences, we’d love to hear your audition! We are seeking multiple voice actors to portray the diverse characters featured in the series.
Responsibilities
- Provide voice recordings for one or more characters in the series.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director and scriptwriter to ensure alignment with character personalities.
- Record voiceovers in a home studio or professional recording studio.
- Adjust tone, pacing, and emotion based on feedback from the team.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to ensure alignment with the series’ goals.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Theater Arts, Communications, Performing Arts, or related field.
- Alternative: Formal training or certification in Voice Acting or Audio Production from a recognized institution or workshop; or proof of experience.
Experience Level:
- Must have 2-3 years of professional experience in voice acting, preferably in animation, children’s content, or educational media.
- Demonstrated ability to bring diverse characters to life through previous roles in animation, audiobooks, video games, or commercials.
Relevant Competencies:
- Vocal Versatility: Ability to adjust tone, pitch, and style to convey a range of characters, emotions, and ages.
- Acting Skills: Strong storytelling and acting ability, with the talent to express personality, emotion, and depth through voice alone.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using recording equipment (microphones, audio interfaces) and basic knowledge of sound recording software.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in pronunciation, pacing, and emotional delivery to ensure character consistency and alignment with the creative direction.
- Collaboration: Ability to take direction and incorporate feedback from the creative team to achieve the desired voice for each character.
- Reliability: Consistent availability and adherence to deadlines for recording sessions and revisions.
Requirements:
- Experience in voice acting (preferably in animation or children’s content).
- Ability to portray a range of emotions and tones.
- Access to a professional recording setup.
- Strong communication skills and ability to take direction.
