About Co-Development Hub:

Co-Development Hub (Co-Dev Hub) is a leading social innovation center based in Maiduguri, Borno State. Our mission is to foster creativity, entrepreneurship, and social innovation by bringing together innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, and social actors. We leverage creativity, arts, and technology to co-develop solutions that address pressing societal challenges across Africa. Since our inception in 2018, we have incubated over 100 startups and trained over 6,500 youth. Our hub aims to reshape the social and economic landscape of Northeast Nigeria by empowering communities with the tools, knowledge, and skills for lasting development.

As part of this mission, we are seeking a Program Manager to lead the strategic and operational development of our programs. This role will be central to ensuring that the hub’s initiatives contribute to community transformation through creativity, innovation, and social impact.

This position is part of a 6-month pilot project, with the intention to establish an institutional program if successful. Future funding and sustainability will depend on the success of this phase.

Key Responsibilities:

1.  Program Development and Management

  • Design, implement, and manage innovative programs focused on creativity, technology, and social entrepreneurship.
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of innovation projects in alignment with Co-Dev Hub’s goals.
  • Establish program goals, objectives, and timelines while ensuring programs contribute to the social and economic development of the community.
  • Continuously monitor, evaluate, and report on program performance to guide strategic direction.

2.  Collaboration and Partnership Development

  • Build and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, academic institutions, NGOs, and industry partners.
  • Engage community leaders and relevant actors to ensure projects address local needs and opportunities.
  • Actively participate in securing funding opportunities and promoting the Hub’s initiatives in regional and international forums.

3.  Project Management and Execution

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective execution of innovation projects.
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and on time.
  • Track progress, troubleshoot challenges, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
