The Nigerian Police Academy, Wudil, Kano (POLAC) wishes to inform the general public and all suitably qualified candidates that the 2025/2026 admission into the 12th Regular Course (RC) is now open.
Applications are invited from interested graduates for admission into the Academy as Cadet Officers at the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP II).
The online application portal is now active, and all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply through the official POLAC registration portal.

POLAC Admission Requirements 2025
To be eligible for admission into the Nigerian Police Academy, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be Nigerian by birth and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
- Must have participated in the 2025 UTME (JAMB) and scored a minimum of 180.
- Must possess a minimum of six (6) credits in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB (including English Language and Mathematics) in not more than two sittings. Only results from 2021 and later are accepted.
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 21 by 31st October 2025.
- Male applicants must not be less than 1.67 meters tall, and female applicants must not be less than 1.64 meters tall.
- Must be physically and mentally fit, and free from any deformity or disability.
- Candidates must be of good character and without any criminal record.

How to Apply for POLAC 2025/2026 Admission
Interested applicants should follow the steps below:
- Create an account and complete the application form in your preferred course of study.
- Pay the sum of ₦5,000 for the application form and ₦2,000 for the Post-UTME screening through the online payment gateway.
Upload all required documents including:
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- O’Level Results
- JAMB Result Slip
- Evidence of Payment
- Passport Photograph
- Submit the completed application form and print out your acknowledgment slip.
Additional Information
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a Physical Screening and Interview.
Successful candidates will undergo a five-year academic and police training, leading to a Bachelor’s degree and commissioning as Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASP).
