Position Overview:
MSF is seeking a Social Worker to support its Sokoto Noma & Emergency Response Project. The Social Worker will provide social support to patients and survivors, linking them with essential services and ensuring improved health and social outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver social support activities in line with MSF protocols
  • Connect patients/survivors with community resources and support systems
  • Contribute to improved social and health-related conditions for target populations

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Social Sciences, Social Communication, Nursing, or Community Health
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in SGBV programming, health promotion, or community engagement (preferably in humanitarian/development settings)
  • Language: Fluency in English; local language preferred
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of IEC strategies/materials and computer literacy (Word, Excel)
  • Competencies: Flexibility, commitment to MSF principles, teamwork, and results orientation
