The Fellowship is aimed at mid-career journalists and filmmakers from the global south. Working in film, print, audio, photography or multimedia, the fellows seeks to develop their existing career reporting in the global south, raising awareness and breaking down prejudices with integrity and creativity.
Requirements
- One World Media want to hear from mid-career filmmakers and journalists from the global south, with creative and engaging non-fiction stories about the global south.
- This year we will select 10 Fellows. This will include Fellows awarded special grants in partnership with media outlets.
- The Fellows experiment and learn in a supportive environment – they could be looking for their next ambitious project, investigation, or tackling a challenging topic.
- As well as the integrity and creativity of the story, OWM also take into account their access, ability to deliver the story and why they would benefit from the Fellowship.
