As previously stated in the YEIDEP schedule of activities released earlier which you can read here: FMYD Released YEIDEP Program Payment Date And Schedule Activities,—the collation of YEIDEP applicants’ bank account details is scheduled to take place from June 1st to June 10th, 2025.
The YEIDEP program registration, which ended on May 31st, 2025, recorded over 5 million applicants.
According to the program’s management, YEIDEP offers more than just financial support. Beneficiaries will receive non-refundable grants of up to N500,000 to support small businesses, particularly in sectors such as agribusiness and agro-processing.
The program also includes training in entrepreneurship, technical skills, and ongoing mentorship to guide beneficiaries as they grow their ventures. Each business will be closely monitored to ensure success and sustainability.
The next phase involves reviewing the more than five million applications, shortlisting eligible candidates, sending direct payments to verified bank accounts, enrolling youth in training programs, and establishing a system of continuous support. These steps are designed to prevent mismanagement and ensure that only deserving candidates benefit from the initiative.
